March 2009 – The Runner
Frustrated with directing, the director reminisces, thinking back to his adventitious encounter of his first love and his wonderful moments with his friends in SMIC Movie Industry Club, where he was nurtured. Inspired, he runs back to that motherland and there he finds a surprise awaiting…

Production took about 3 weeks, and is to be part of the Shanghai Student Film Festival

March 2009 – Huge Grace Promotional Video

The Comunity Service Club fellas approached us to film a short promotional/thankyou video for the Huge Grace visits, and we gladly accepted. Filming was done all in half day – during the Huge Grace visit, and production took about 1 week. Because of copyright issues, this video is not available on YouTube.

September 2008 – Movie Club Recruitment video

Like the name suggests, this video was mainly created to recruit more people in the Movie Club. Only 2 days of filming, and the whole production took about 5 days. Read more about this video: http://axieblast.com/movieclub/2008/09/recruitment-film-progress/


March 2008 – White Valentine’s Day commercial video

Only 2 days of filming, and 3 days (including filming) of working on it. It was an advertisement for a Fundraising Event.


October – March 2008: If I Speak (Full-length Movie) (Uncompleted)

Time Spent: >6 months

Completed length: 20 mins

Directors: Yvette Chou, Justine Hsu, Cathy Park

Because of the stress that this video has caused, the club has decided to pause the progress of the movie for now. We will start the movie again when we have time.
