SMIC Movie Industry Club

There will be a meeting held at October 7th, 2008, Tuesday after-school. We will be discussing about:

• Fundraising at Sports Day
• Film Competition Entries
• Later Projects

All members are required to attend this meeting. It is going to be held at 10B Homeroom. If you can’t make it to the meeting, please inform our secretary, Paul.

On Tuesday, September 30, from 1 pmto 4 pm, the movie club has decided to gather all Assistant Directors and any other peple interested to come and help create the ranking poster, which basically is a poster showing the position of each and one of the members. The whole time will be consisted of cutting up paper, gluing paper, decorating paper, paper…paper…paper…

Hi everyone!

I’ve heard that some of you guys have been wondering when’s our next meeting going to be and what are the plans for these days. So, here’s it!

First of all, we are working on the recruitment film that is due on next wednesday! (Cuz we needa display it to the whole high skul during morning assembly) My crew (yes, my lovely crew) has been working quite hard to make everything together=D If you have signed up as actor, cameraman, scriptwriter, or editor, we will contact you these days for help (if we need any). So don’t panic that you seemed to have nothing to do yet!

Hi everybody,

Times are now changed. The full-club meeting is now re-scheduled to Friday, 12th September 8th Period at A202, the 7D Homeroom. We are going to have a full-club meeting at Wednesday, 10th September 2008 After-school.

We will notify you soon where the meeting will take place. In this meeting, you guys will meet our faculty advisor, which is the wonderful and cool Mr. Weber =DDD!! You guys will get to know him and he will need to know who’s in this club as well. This is also a chance for you to know all your fellow club members=)!

Please note that we expect all members from last year to come. If a member hasn’t shown up without an excuse, we are going to think that you don’t have the interest to join this club anymore. Which is not good.

I do realize that Ms. Han has invited some of the students to go to her class for some extra Math knowledge, so we will film the meeting, and post it on the website. If you cannot attend for this reason, it’s okay =D

this is my first post written as a president. =))) supposed to be very exciting…(not a lot)

we’re thinking about making an acronym for SMIC Movie Club.

some options are MOC (no meaning at all, just sounds cool, by jonathan Ts.)

and MVC (shortened for MoVie Club, lol, by me)

if you guys have other suggestions, please just post ur comment up and let us know!!! gosh cuz we’re reli struggling about it =PP

or if u just tell us which one you would prefer (so we can do the statistics and decide!! )

We will need to do the following things for the following week:

• Clean up the room + Put stuff in
• - Remove all the rubbish/junk (clothes, artwork, etc.) (Ask Ms. Driscool + CSC)
• - Print out the rank charts and put it on the walls
• - Print and put up pictures on the walls
• Look up Web Episodes
• Make a video about telling people to join by tuesday (or ASAP, to be played in assembly)
• Arrange meeting with Rock for Charity
• Get Whiteboard/Sofa/TV (2 weeks)
